Happy Fall!

Here is another CD project. I had lots of fun creating this. It took a few days because of the details on the leaves. Each one was detailed using chalk or ink. If you would like detailed instructions, please just send me a messge and I'll post them.

  1. I love this idea! we have lots of old cds I can use. Did you use glue or tape on these? which one sticks better?

  2. Thanks for the comment, Tracy. I actuall use Mod Podge. I just take a Q-tip and smudge the mod podge all over the CD making sure it's very thin (actually clear) then I press the paper down, rubbing from top to bottom to ensure there are no bubbles. I use a decent size cardstock most of the time. I usually put the CD under a heavy book to sit for a few minutes and that makes sure the paper seals flat. I did some of these over a year ago and the paper is still holding strong:-) Now, for the letters I just used a glue pen!
